Who We Are

​We are a collection of Disc Golfers with the single goal of absolute enjoyment of the game within our Club.

 

It all started when one of us Elders was introduced to the game of Disc Golf on a camping trip to Horning's Hideout.  What began from there was nothing short of a viral infection of Disc Love that grew into this club of tight knit Hukkers, and continues to spread throughout our actions and presence.

 

Coming from a very competitive background, we 'Backs were always looking for ways to compete with, and against, each other.  Always trying to best each other in any skill or sport that happened to fit our whimsy.  Be it conventional sports or activities, like basketball, paintball, kart racing, billiards, darts, ping pong, bowling, shooting, or the ever present video games (shooters and racing games always the faves)...we were  always competing.  It amazes me how many ways we have found throughout the years to challenge each other!

 

Then came Disc Golf.  Our collective worlds would never be the same.  Now we had found something that seemed to bring everything together!  We are avid outdoorsmen, camping year round, hunting,  fishing, bigfooting.  Now we get to enjoy the outdoors in a competitive nature, while still allowing us the "zen" of being in nature.  "One must remember that the trees are our friends...fickle friends...but friends, nonetheless..."

 

We strive to keep the crew as tight knit as possible, and that's why we don't have a large club...but our reach is far.  We have many members that represent our club througout the NorthWest, and as far away as Colorado. 

 

So if you see a 'Back in their natural element, approach softly and slowly...always with a beer in an outstretched arm towards the Gorilla... ;)
